CELTIC & CO

Liz is met in Newquay by Celtic & Co’s founder and director Kath Whitworth and her daughter Clare, marketing trade manager. They laugh when asked what it’s like to work together: ‘It’s much easier now I’ve moved out,’ Clare admits. Celtic & Co has been producing sheepskin slippers and boots in Newquay for nearly 27 years, but the Whitworths have been there far longer. ‘I was born here,’ Kath explains. ‘My parents moved to Cornwall to go into the hotel industry. I loved growing up here and always knew I wanted to stay.’
