The Greater Kruger National Park is home to breeding populations of five vulture species, which makes it the perfect place for studying and monitoring these birds. These vultures are all either endangered (lappet-faced vulture and Cape vulture ) or critically endangered (white-headed vulture , hooded vulture and white-backed vulture ).
