asher Keddie is happy. You can hear it in her voice. Calling from her Melbourne home on a cold and drizzly Friday morning, the actor says she’s in a good place both personally and professionally. But you get the sense it’s taken a good deal of work to arrive in this coveted position.

The award-winning actor has been juggling many hats of late, including starring in the SBS drama The Hunting, working on the Cate Blanchett-led ABC drama Stateless, collating the artwork for her husband Vincent Fantauzzo’s namesake hotel, being named official Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) and Georg Jensen campaign ambassador and, of course, being a mother.

“I feel in a really positive place, but I’m not saying I’ve got it all worked out,” says Keddie carefully, making sure she doesn’t come across as glib. “I don’t think I ever will, but I do feel very positive—and quite overwhelmed in a good way—about where
