The Duchess of Cambridge served up a treat for children and parents last week as she joined them for drop-off at a London nursery school.

Kate helped dish up breakfast to the little ones and chatted to staff about The Royal Foundation’s 5 Big Questions on the Under 5s survey, focused on early childhood.

Kate surprised families arriving at Stockwell Gardens Nursery and Pre-school in South London, part of the London Early Years Foundation (LEYF).

After wheeling a trolley of food into the classroom, she sat with children at a tiny table, pouring out cereal for three-year-old Lucy and her classmates and asking them to say “stop”
