Author and human rights advocate Tara Moss is currently undertaking a PhD at The University of Sydney, looking at the intersection of the vintage scene and sustainability, feminism and political engagement. She has a particular interest in the salvaging of vintage clothes and the taking up of 1940s ‘make do and mend’ skills, and is also the current patron for the Australian Sewing Guild, promoting mending, sewing and craft
