WAS THERE EVER A BETTER MATCH BETWEEN LOCATION AND EVENT than when Swiss watchmaker Longines celebrated its new Conquest Classic with an intimate. The evening particularly aimed to support and celebrate women — the building itself was commissioned by a woman in 1890 — and the guest list included actors Michala Banas and Stephanie McIntosh, designer Yeojin Bae and social media stars Nadia Bartel and Rebecca Harding. (There were men, too: media personality Kris Smith and ’ Jackson Gallagher were among the dinner guests.) But the party wasn’t over when dessert was served. Instead, everyone gravitated to the cheese room, a sumptuous red-carpeted lounge area with a view to Bromley’s studio and works. And despite the host, no one kept track of time.
