South Africans can visit 99 countries visa-free

According to the Henley Passport Index*, South African passport holders can visit more countries visa-free than ever before: 99 in total. Travelling on the green mamba often feels like an exercise in advance planning, but you need nothing more than a plane ticket to explore the countries listed below. The South African passport is currently ranked 54th in the world in terms of “passport power and global mobility”.

Japan and Singapore jointly occupy the number one spot for most travel-friendly passport.
