    Needles

    3.25mm knitting needles

    4.00mm knitting needles

    Tension

    22 sts and 28 rows to 10cm over st st using 4mm needles.

    STITCH GUIDE

    When working lace patt from chart, do NOT work the (yfwd) increase unless there are sufficient sts to work the corresponding decrease so that number of sts remains constant.

    BACK

    Using 3.25mm needles, cast on 73 (81, 89, 97) sts.

    Work in g st for 4 rows, end with a WS row.

    Change to 4mm needles. Starting with a K row, work in st st, shaping side seams by dec 1 st at each end of 3rd (3rd, 7th, 7th) and every foll 8th row until 61 (67,
