MEET THE 20 PARTICIPANTS OF THE 2019 TireRack.com OVERLAND ADVENTURE EAST
WELL, THAT WAS FAST! THE FOUR WHEELER Overland Adventure in Arizona was barely a memory and we were already getting ready to pack up for the inaugural East Coast version, since the one out West was such a hit! The TireRack.com Overland Adventure East headed to the Mid-Atlantic region October 7-10, 2019, traveling mainly off-road by day and camping by night. The overlanding-palooza continued when we attended the premier overlanding event, Overland Expo East (Overland Adventure East’s official event partner), which went down October 11-13 at Infinity Downs Farm in Arrington, Virginia. The 2019 TireRack.com Overland Adventure East was sponsored by TireRack.com, Dick Cepek Tires, Dee Zee, Hazard 4, and Mamba Wheels. We’ll be sharing all the adventures and taking a closer look at the rigs that came along over the coming months, but for now, meet the 20 overlanders!

“Both my fiancée and I work 40-plus-hour desk jobs and try to unplug whenever we get a chance. Overlanding in the Land Rover is a very basic, analog experience. Traveling in such a simplistic vehicle carrying just as much as we need to get by is an enjoyable experience that we find ourselves doing more and more every year,” Joseph says.
