TIME FOR CHANGE
THE dusky flathead is amongst the most popular and enigmatic of saltwater species chased by recreational anglers. As a long time flatty fanatic I’ve often pondered the incredible appeal this wonderful sportfish has with the recreational angling community. Part of the magnetism of these fantastic flatfish is that anyone from the first time angler on a jetty through to the most experienced gun angler around has a chance of catching a really big fish, maybe even that rarest of recreational catches, the almost mythical metre long flathead.
