ANGLERS who passionately pursue Australian bass will be getting itchy feet this month as the no-take spawning closure draws to an end. It’s a credit to the majority of bass anglers, who in response to their commitment to stock conservation, cease activities whilst the fish spawn, given that it’s the taking of bass rather than fishing for bass that is prohibited during the closure.
