THE Club Marine Barra Nationals is an important tournament held at the end of the wet season run off period on the Daly River in the Northern Territory. I’ve fished this tournament for a few years now, and it is an exciting event on my fishing calendar. The event this year was the toughest tournament since the event began over 20 years ago. A very poor wet season combined with low river levels combined to produce the lowest catch rate in the history of the tournament.
