PLEASE TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR BACKGROUND…

and I met when we were around 14-years-old. He was a young surfer from Kingscliff in Northern NSW and I was a shy soccer player from Sydney. It wasn’t until I was 16 that built up the courage to talk to me (via text). I guess we both kinda fell in love with each other and we started dating long distance for a year until moved down to Sydney. We dated for three years and got engaged when I was 20 and was 22. During the first few years of marriage we were both studying, me (graphic design and a shipwright apprenticeship). We lived in a small apartment and didn’t have much money to furnish it so started experimenting after hours, crafting timber pieces that fit the small space. Around this time my nan bought me a sewing machine and I started making cushions and other linen things for our home.
