9AM TRANSFORMERS (2007)

Say what you will about the sequels (and believe me, I holds up nicely. It’s overly long, but judged against what follows it almost has a sense of… restraint? Not exactly. Charm? Sort of. Fun is probably the right term — the rock-’em-sock-’em action is colourful and pacy, Shia LaBeouf is on good form, and the novelty hasn’t worn off. Is it too late to stop here?
