1. FEEDING THE CREW

Noting your eating habits and supermarket lists at home will not translate directly to what you eat afloat. Even if the boat has an excellent galley, sometimes you will be looking for quick, one-pot meals, and sometimes you will have the time and inclination to be creative. Cater for both.
