EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS

As this issue of CQ magazine is dedicated to emergency communications, I thought it would be a great time to review a number of concepts and ideas we have discussed this past year.

In the November 2018 issue, we explored the concept of for broadcasters and amateur radio emergency communicators. Several states, including Nevada, Wisconsin, Illinois, and New Jersey, have crafted legislation to permit stations to apply for state-issued essential personnel identification cards.
