Public Logs: The Benefits Outweigh the Risks
In 2005, the CQ World Wide DX Contest Committee pio-neered publishing logs on the Web after final scoring was completed. The logs for both the Phone and CW DX contest weekends from 2005 forward now are available to everyone (Check logs are not made public). The CQ World Wide RTTY DX Contest followed suit in 2009, followed by the CQ World Wide WPX Contest in 2010 and the CQ World Wide WPX RTTY Contest in 2012. Beginning with 2018 logs, all ARRL contest logs are also now published after scoring.
As of now, there is more than a complete sunspot cycle’s worth of CQ World Wide DX Contest logs available for any kind of study and analysis that competitors may wish to perform, and growing collections of other contest logs as well. The
