like to spend time outdoors and always enjoy visiting my local park. An element of fun I often add when visiting the park is setting up a small QRP transceiver and deploying a simple wire antenna for true portable operation. One of my favorite antennas to use for portable operation is an end-fed made from lamp cord or speaker wire.
