THEY ARE CARRIED IN, babes in arms. Swaddled in towels, many still damp from birth, up to 250 newborn fillies and colts are rushed into Scone Equine Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Clovelly Stables in NSW each foaling season from August 1 to the end of December.
