ONCE UPON A TIME

ASK A CHILD TO describe their dream house and, chances are, it will include an underground hide-out or a set of pink turrets. With a bit of luck, our palate matures as we do — though that wasn’t necessary for Louise Andreasen. She fell in love with her house four decades ago, strolling past it every day on her way to school and back, in the small Danish town of Kerteminde.
