Time passes unnervingly quickly. Yet, it seems as if I have been loading, driving and offloading the Mahindra Pik Up for three years instead of one. Perhaps it is the number of weekend trips hauling all manner of goods – sometimes with the Venter trailer in tow – to the “lifestyle” farm. The place needed so much improving to turn it into something even resembling liveable instead of Kamp Staaldraad. This was to be the Mahindra’s ongoing task for the year.
