Inverter Generator
Having a backup generator during a prolonged power outage is important to many folks for a variety of reasons.
Earlier this year, Briggs & Stratton introduced the Q6500 QuietPower™ Series Inverter Generator, a model that’s 60 percent quieter, 30 percent lighter, and 45 percent more compact than a standard generator. Its fully enclosed, impact-resistant shell significantly reduces noise, and its lightweight compact design makes it easier to maneuver.
The Q6500 was developed based on the convenience and fuel efficiency inverters have brought to camping for many years, but with an increase in power output to serve as a portable residential backup power source, designed with enough wattage to keep essential home appliances and electronics up and running.
The 306cc integrated engine and alternator configuration of the Q6500 reduces overall weight and space, and simplifies airflow, meaning it has a lot of power without all the weight, bulk, and noise. In addition, it features four 120V-20A outlets, one 120V-240V locking outlet, and two USB outlets.
