Angus Calder

BUT ALL THAT CHANGED IN 2018 when the Northern Sydney Cycling Club rider became the first man to seize the NSW Road Premiership in both the U23 and Open categories in the same season. While he didn’t win an individual round, Calder’s year was a story of remarkable consistency. Scoring points in every race he also found himself on multiple podiums throughout the season, including second in the Goulburn Great Divide Road Race, third in Gunnedah to Tamworth and third in the Cootamundra Annual Cycle Classic. Along the way Calder also claimed bronze medals in both the 2018 NSW U23 Road and ITT Championships. It was a breakthrough season
