2022 Dreaming ... The Sarah Cliff Story

SHE’D BARELY STARTED PRIMARY SCHOOL when Geelong hosted the UCI Road World Championships in 2010. She’s still only in Grade 9. But if things go to plan over the next few years, Sarah Cliff, 15, from the Illawarra Cycling Club and Illawarra Academy of Sport might just be competing for rainbows in front of family and friends in Wollongong come 2022. Like most of the Illawarra cycling community, Cliff was overjoyed, almost to the point of disbelief, when the UCI decision was officially announced at the 2018 World Championships in Innsbruck.
