I AM SEEING MORE AND MORE women enjoying the freedom that riding a bike gives them. They don't always wear Lyrca and that is just fine, if riding a bike puts a smile on their face, but I often see women in their sneakers and trackies look at those female roadies in a tight bunch enjoying a tailwind to the coast thinking "WOW look at those women I want to be like them" and you can!
Cycling Australia’s 'She Rides’ women’s program has programs running throughout the year and is particularly popular here in Adelaide. There are also many clubs that welcome women into cycling, including the Skinny Lattes Cycling Club which is Adelaide's only incorporated women's specific club.
Adelaide has options for all types of cycling…from local bunch rides from the city to Glenelg or Outer Harbour to groups heading to the Adelaide Hills where world class climbing is
