‘The National’ presents the here and now of Australian art, showing new and commissioned work from 65 emerging, mid-career and established artists across Sydney’s three pre-eminent institutions, AGNSW, MCA and Carriageworks. Positing art as a form of emotional tourism, Daniel Mudie Cunningham assembled 19 artists for the Carriageworks contingent, which includes (left) by Clare Peake – a (still, below, right).
