Picnicking at Redleaf Beach, happy hour at Bistro Rex, coffee at Gypsy Espresso, Saturday mornings at Kings Cross Farmers Market, browsing fabrics in Rushcutters Bay, and sourcing pieces for clients, shoots and gifts in Potts Point. A family holiday on the Amalfi Coast and a ‘working’ holiday with my mother sourcing antiques in Europe. We’ll need a shipping container! Vintage pieces given an interesting, contemporary twist via unexpected upholstery. The Vault Sydney does that so well. I’m very excited to be launching a collection of lamps. The bases have been beautifully rendered using plaster so they have a wonderful, chalky patina and a sense of the handmade. Paired with Italian linen shades, they draw on the timeless sculptural forms of Mediterranean architecture and earthenware.
