TEAM USA TOP 10

USA Baseball’s Collegiate National Team won two of its three international series this summer, defeating Cuba at home before heading to Asia, where Team USA won a series against Taiwan, lost a series against Japan and finished with an 8-6 record. Regardless of results, the CNT is always a strong indicator of the strength of the college class and an excellent preview of the top talent available for the following year’s draft. Of the eight draft-eligible players ranked in the top 10 in 2018, six went on to be selected in the first round of the 2019 draft, highlighted by Adley Rutschman and Andrew Vaughn.
