Australian House & Garden

EDITOR’S LETTER

“APART from my usual notes-to-self, a recurring New Year’s resolution is to make my HOME into nirvana.”

the time you read this, the frenetic festive-season activity will be over and you can relax and contemplate what’s in store for team and I have been writing and reviewing our must–do lists for 2020. Apart from my usual New Year notes-to-self – do more yoga, read more (that is, finish the 20 books I started this year), eat more fish and less French cheese, consume fewer drinks beginning with c (coffee, Champagne and chardonnay) and try not to get so worked up about things – a recurring resolution is to make my home into nirvana. All needs will be met when the vision is achieved and it will spark joy every day. I think this is all part of a property-renovating/decorating condition that afflicts many and is difficult to cure. I have succumbed on many occasions!
