It is a brave time to stage an exhibition about the future. We are currently living through the sixth mass extinction event in the planet’s history, only now it is humanity, not a rogue asteroid or volcano, that bears the blame. While our world leaders should be working together to stave off the looming climate apocalypse, we find ourselves mired in an era of secrecy, misinformation and isolationism.
