EBRAZ PROVES HIMSELF AGAIN

Back in 2017, trainer Julian Smart described Ebraz (Amer x Massamarie by Tidjani) as a “super horse.” The occasion was a win in the Group 1 Emir’s Sword in Qatar, the nation’s leading race for Arabians, at the tender age of four. At the time, Smart wondered if he had spoken too boldly about the young racehorse.

Two years later, Smart’s early opinion has turned out be accurate. Ebraz, now a mature racehorse, remains the standard-bearer for owner Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani’s Al Shahania Stud.
