SEASONAL HOME CHECKLIST

WINTER

With limited daylight and cold weather this is not the most practical season to take on large projects. However, you must keep on top of little maintenance jobs and take the time to fix any niggles inside and outside the home. Look out for issues that can be exacerbated by cold weather. Clad any pipes that might be subject to freezing temperatures, keep an eye on the condensate pipe, and oil locks that are prone to sticking.

OUTSIDE

• Keep an eye out for cracks widening or other exterior damage from frost. If you spot a new crack or changes to an existing one, take remedial action.

• Check fences and trees for signs of storm damage regularly – you do not want to risk things falling in bad weather and causing further damage to your property or passersby.

• After high winds, check your roof for slipped tiles. Standing across the street or at the bottom
