HCC and HMM and enjoy both publications. The I Was There column in HCC #177 brought back a long-ago memory. My dad was a mechanic at Jack Roach Ford in Houston for many years, so I was in there frequently, checking out new arrivals and just goofing off in general. In late 1969, I was looking around the lot and came across a light green LTD with a red bench seat interior — no kidding! I thought, who in the heck would have ever ordered that and how did the factory let it get built? I believe I have the answer now.
