I WAS A COLLEGE STUDENT AND worked for General Motors in various jobs and positions at the Rochester Products Division (RPD) in Rochester, New York, from 1961 to 1966. At the time, RPD supplied GM with steel tubing for gas and brake lines for a variety of its cars and trucks. It also manufactured the locks, keys, and carburetors for the entire line of its vehicles, including Corvette fuel injection units.
