The idea for Lily’s Kitchen came about when Henrietta’s Border terrier, Lily, became ill and refused to eat. Henrietta began cooking meals for Lily using fresh meat and vegetables dug from her own garden. From seven initial products for dogs, she now has 90 in her range, and is now stocked through Ocado, Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Pets at Home. Henrietta has 67 employees and enjoys an annual turnover of £40 million.
