Ant, 39, lives in Chelmsford, Essex, with his wife Emilie and their four children. He also has a son, Oakley, from his previous relationship.

I left school at the age of 16 to join the Royal Engineers. I spent 15 years in theaired on Channel 4. I never imagined that it would propel me into the media space that I’m now living in, but it is so interesting and new for me. I always say that I feel most comfortable when I’m uncomfortable – so as long as my career continues to push me outside of my comfort zone, I will be very happy.
