Snow BUSINESS

I love almost everything about skiing. The gloriously huge breakfasts and reasons to eat fondue. A winter stay in a hotel with all the bed-making and pillow-plumping that entails. The majestic mountains and the sparkling snowscapes. Sun on your face and blue sky overhead.

The only bit I’m not so keen on is… well, the skiing. All that rushing into slushy boot rooms, clomping around in uncomfortable boots, lugging ungainly skis and poles for miles to the piste, and then hurtling down slopes trying not to break your neck, while French toddlers overtake you, laughing and spraying snow in your face.
