Can I learn to use a Eurorack modular synth using software?

> The Eurorack boom shows no sign of busting, but we can appreciate that, for a lot of people, stepping into the world of modular synthesis feels like a big step. Even creating a relatively modest Eurorack setup isn’t going to be cheap, and if you’re a newcomer to the world of patch cables, you might not know what to buy or how everything works.
