All the technical elements – how to build it and what materials to use – are a well-trodden path. In this series, we’ve already seen that a sustainable home needs a bit more thought. To be sustainable means to be maintainable, to endure. It also means to be built according to sustainable practices. That’s a goal that requires us to pay attention to details that we might take for granted otherwise.
