Super splitting

As producers, we always strive for more impact, aggression, width and space in our mixes, and when making electronic music, one of the trickiest factors to get right is the bass. Dance tunes demand power and consistency in the low end, and you need your bass to cut through and underpin the mix at all times, so when stacking signals to create an all-powerful, ‘3D’ bass sound, it’s crucial that you get your layering right.
