    CELEBRATING SAUVIGNON BLANC

    OVER 400 guests will soon descend upon Marlborough for the second Sauvignon Blanc Celebration (28-30 January, 2019), following on from 2016’s highly successful three-day salute to NZ’s hallmark grape. NZ produces 17 per cent of the world’s sauvignon blanc, despite accounting for slightly less than 1 per cent of global annual wine production. The 2019 celebration intends exploring NZ’s place within the wine world, examining topical areas such as climate change, sustainability and flavour, and asking just what NZ should be doing to continue to succeed both domestically and globally.
