When Katamarireleased in 2004, it surprised players and critics with its joyous mechanics and soundtrack. It was an energetic, colourful bolt from the blue, and its creator, Keita Takahashi, was launched into the spotlight. Although Katamari, and his later game Noby Noby Boy, released over a decade ago, Takahashi’s latest game, Wattam, has the same free-spirited imagination and playful sense of fun.
