VERY FEW FILM DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES are closely aligned with one single artist or have a particular graphic house style. But Rialto Pictures—a boutique label that has re-released many of the classics of mid-century European art cinema in 2000. Since then, Rialto has rarely used artists other than Kimura, the exception being two strikingly stylized posters—all elongated bodies and oversized heads—for their re-releases of and , which were painted by Keiko’s sister and professional collaborator, Yoko Komura.
