KNIFE MAN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

The letters came from around the world. Simply addressed to “Knife Man, Orlando, Florida,” they were meant for BLADE Magazine Cutlery Hall-Of-Fame® member Bo Randall—and they got there.

In the midst of World War II, U.S. service personnel in combat zones clamored for the knife they believed would give them the best edge in combat and prove the most functional of any tool available. The Randall knives they wanted were the product of one man’s vision and commitment to making the best of their kind anywhere.

The continuing saga of Randall Made Knives began innocently enough when Walter Doane “Bo” Randall Jr. was taking a walk around a serene lake in Michigan. He saw a man scraping paint off the bottom of a boat with a good-looking knife.
