SAM’S WISH

With help from the Make a Wish foundation (makeawish.org.au), and literally truckloads of support from local landscapers Greenwood Landscapes, Adam Dovile and Jason Hodges were able to make the dreams of Queenslander Sam McAuliffe a reality. Sam has lived with cerebral palsy since birth, but he’s never let that get in the way of loving life or let it disrupt his DIY ambitions. The team’s mission was to create awesome accessible spaces for Sam and his family. And they did!

1 LIVING LARGE

While the makeover made the backyard practical and accessible, the real magic is in the new garden beds, potted feature plants and fire pit. Now, it’s a warm, welcoming spot to gather and relax. You can easily get this look if you have a courtyard or are prepared to give up a bit of the lawn in your garden!
