My Fashion Fantasy... JULIA RESTOIN ROITFELD

Entrepreneur, model and art director Julia Restoin Roitfeld was born into a world of style. With former editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld as her mum, and her dad heading up shirt label Equipment, as a child her family friends included Tom Ford and Riccardo Tisci and her first modelling job was at the age of ten, when she took part in a Mario. She’s gone on to front campaigns for Tom Ford fragrance Black Orchid, along with fragrances by Jil Sander and Lancôme, and her Parisian sense of style has led her to collaborate with brands including River Island and Warehouse, along with consulting for Miu Miu, Zac Posen and Jean-Paul Gaultier. Her latest project has been creating a 16-piece collection for online store The Outnet, all of which are her fashion go-tos, such as a day-to-night silk slip, tuxedo blazer dress and cocktail mini dress. “It’s been such a busy few months – I travel a lot for work and special projects. But, most excitingly, I’ve just launched a capsule collection with Iris & Ink, The Outnet’s in-house label,” she says. “I love to design and dress up, and this collection is something I’m especially proud of, as it’s the perfect representation of my personal style.” Here, Julia reveals the ultimate day in her life…
