PROJECT CHEAP SHOT

IN MILITARY PARLANCE, PROVIDING REARWARD defense while a fighting unit advances or withdraws is referred to as “bringing up the rear.” It’s amazing, sometimes, how fighting a battle and building a muscle machine can be so similar. In this segment of our budget-built Pro Touring machine, we devised a strategy to protect our ’69 Camaro’s rear with a disc brake package, an anti-sway bar, a lowering kit, and to complete the ploy, we fit up our rolling stock. Plus, we were able to take advantage of a short break in the build schedule to add some color to the Camaro’s flanks.
