On August 27, the world was reminded just how dangerous motorsports can be when 39-year-old Jessi Combs, hoping to break her existing record, was killed during a land-speed record attempt in Oregon. Jessi was a talented television host and up-and-coming racer, and the entire racing community was shaken by her death. I want to express my sincerest condolences to Jessi’s family and friends.
