WrestleMania shatters records … again! Is there a record for how many times an event can break its own records, year after year? WrestleMania 35 became the highest-grossing entertainment event in the history of MetLife Stadium, raking in $16.9-million. Fittingly, the April 7 spectacular broke the record previously held by WrestleMania 29, which had a gross intake of $12.3-million.

In terms of WWE’s all-time gross revenue record, WrestleMania 35 was just behind ’Mania 32, held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Attendance was sky-high, too. MetLife Stadium hosted 82,265 fans from all 50 states and 68 countries. In the all-time attendance record standings, Wrestle-Mania 35 ranks number three, behind WM 32 (101,763) and WM 3 (93,173).
