GREAT EXPECTATIONS

Just wondering if John Boyle can supply technical details about his Great Motor Boat Tour from 2011, when he circumnavigated the UK and Ireland in a Sealine S34. I would be very interested to see how actual fuel consumption compared to book figures, how many miles on average per day he travelled and what the total cost in diesel was.

I am looking at buying a 35ft motor cruiser and his exploits really showcased what a boat of that I don’t think I have the fuel figures from that trip to hand – I have changed computers at least a couple of times since then – but I may be able to provide you with some generic guidance.
